Supplies you will need:
- Silicone ice cube tray – find similar trays here
- Jug (For melting and pouring
- Freeze Dried Sprats (Or another dog treat of you choice that can be broken up)
- Scissors (If cutting up treats like sprats)
- Vita Coco Coconut Oil
Spoon out a couple of dessert spoons of coconut oil into the jug and microwave in 10 second intervals until liquid (800w microwave this take approx 50 seconds)
Pour into mould and fill about 1/4 – 1/2 – Place into the freezer for 10 minutes or until solid
Meanwhile chop the freeze dried Sprats or break up the treats of your choice
Sprinkle the Sprats (or other treats) into the mould
Repeat Step one by melting 2 spoonfuls of oil in the microwave, and then fill mould to the top
Return to the freezer for 10 mins and then pop out of the moulds
These treats can be kept in the freezer or the fridge (we keep ours in the fridge) as the oil can begin to melt over 23 degrees.
Feed one a day and the dogs think there lip smackingly good! See the proof below!
Important to note that when giving coconut oil to dogs it should be raw and cold pressed, organic and extra virgin.
Vita Coco Coconut Oil is all these things

TOP TIP FOR DOG LOVERS
Sookie, our frenchie gets a dry nose which is quite common in French Bulldog and we rub coconut oil onto her nose to keep it soft and supple!
