A while back I posted about having a 1950’s diet, with the main focus being to only eat and drink items that only contained sugar and not artificial sweeteners and continue to have a active lifestyle which comes as normal to a mum with 2 kids and a dog!
Although whilst doing this I haven’t really been paying attention to exactly what I’ve been eating, I believe I have a fairly good diet but white bread, crisps and chocolate aren’t any good especially a large amount on a weekend binge!
I am within a healthy weight with a bmi of 23 but I need to get better with healthy eating also my jeans are getting a bit tight. Plus Christmas will be here soon and I can be slimmer ready to indulge!
The main reason I was avoiding sweeteners was the negative points about aspartame and I am now worried that following a diet plan includes lots of items that include it but I’m not sure what else I can do, I’m hoping for a short while it shouldn’t be too harmful and once Christmas is over maybe I’ll go back to non diet products but will continue to keep the quantities down of the naughty foods.
I’m loosely following slimming world with the main focus on counting the syns for crisps, chocolate, deserts etc.
What do you think, what plans do you follow? Are you slimming for Christmas?
